Baltic & Mexican Amber
Amber is fossilized resin from trees related to modern day conifers
dating back over 20 million years ago.
Baltic Amber tends to have lily pad like inclusions, while the Mexican Amber
tends to have dark, mossy inclusions. Large pieces of raw Amber are rare, so prices for large gauge Amber plugs can jump drastically. Sterling Silver plugs with amber inlays are available by special order. Amber is not meant for continuous wear, and should be worn only in healed, stretched lobes.
